Kevin Carl Puckett, 56, of Willard, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, at home. He was born Dec. 2, 1965, in Willard, to the late Hazy and Maxine (Hall) Puckett.
Kevin is survived by his children, Heather (Mike) Puckett-Sorgenfrei of Willard and Zachery Puckett of Attica; sisters, Karen Fearing and Gloria Veras; and granddaughter, Zamarii (Mar).
Kevin graduated from Willard High School in the class of 1985 and worked as a pipe fitter with Local 42 out of Norwalk. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He loved spending time with his children and granddaughter. Some of his most favorite memories are of fishing trips to Canada with family and friends.
Kevin found comfort in the Lord during his five-year battle with cancer. His motto throughout his battle was "Faith Over Fear." He never gave up hope and knew the Lord would provide him comfort and peace.
Visitation for Kevin will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 323 Myrtle Avenue, Willard. Kevin's funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Kevin's honor may be gifted to American Cancer Society.
