Kenneth Lee "Ken" King, 70, residing in Norwalk, passed away early Thursday morning, Jan. 19, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born Sept. 27, 1952, in New London, to the late Ermin and Mary Rosalie (Broome) King. During childhood, Ken's family moved to California where he graduated from Workman High School. After graduation, Ken moved back to Ohio where he became the shipping manager for Durable Corporation, retiring after 43 years. In his spare time, Ken enjoyed running an antique shop with his wife, corvette shows, and riding motorcycles.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (Conaway) King, whom he married Nov. 7, 1980; daughter, Jenny Prelipp of Avon Lake; son, Eric (Renee) King of Monroeville; three grandchildren, Xander, Norah, and Greyson; sister, Joni (Mark) Curry of California; and brothers, Steve (Francy) King of California, Bruce (Kemi) King of West Virginia, and Jason Salaiz of California.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Marty King.
Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Ken's funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to ProMedica Hospice, 907 W. State Street St. A., Fremont, Ohio, 43420.
