Kathy A. Shook

Jul 29, 1961 - Feb 8, 2026

Bellevue

Kathy A. "Kat" Shook, 64, of Bellevue, passed away peacefully late Sunday evening, February 8, 2026, with family at her side at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.

Born July 29, 1961, in Sandusky, the daughter of William "Grant" and Trula (Payne) Shook. Kathy had worked for several years at Heinz (later known as Kraft Heinz Co.) in Fremont.

She will be remembered for how she loved to hang out with her friends down by the river and caring for her dogs over the years.

Kathy is survived by a sister, Tammy Wilde of Bellevue; a brother, Ronald Shook Sr. of Springfield, Ohio; a niece, Amanda (Anastasia) Wilde; and her nephew, Ronald Shook Jr.; and her trusted buddy and companion, her dog, "Sugar."

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sharon Brown; a brother, Kelley Shook; and nieces and nephews.

It was her wish to be cremated.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio, 3100 Central Avenue, #206, Toledo, OH 43606.

Arrangements are entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH.
