Louise Charlton Obituary

Louise Charlton was born June 4, 1950, in Allendale, SC to the late Richard and Marie (McKnight) Charlton, she was the baby girl of four children. She departed this life on July 9, 2024, after a brief illness at Franklin Square Hospital.
The Family relocated to Philadelphia, PA when the children were young and relocated again to Brooklyn, NY when the children were teenagers. Louise was educated in the New York City Public school system. Louise met her Husband Thomas Miles on Valentines Day 1973, and they married on October 12, 1974, in Brooklyn, NY. Their union produced four children.
In June 1988, Louise relocated her family to Baltimore, MD where she resided until her death. She worked in the childcare field and as a home health aide for several years. She enjoyed working with people.
Louise was outgoing and loved to have fun, cherishing the time spent with family and friends. She created lifelong memories at family gatherings on weekends, holidays and on special occasions. A fan of old school music, she would dance all night. She was also a great cook. Louise had a special bond with her Aunt Claretha they would spend hours together discussing family and life events.
She was proceeded in death by her son Marvin Jackson, sister Doris Charlton and brother Larry Charlton.
Louise leaves to cherish her memory Husband. Thomas Miles; 1 sister, Mary Lee Charlton; 3 sons, Ervin Charlton, Darryl Charlton (Shannon), Reginald Charlton (Eva); 4 Sister In-law's, Kim Gardner (Richard), Michelle Miles, Carol Borden, Bertha May Davis; 3 Brother In-Law's, Leroy Lewis (Denise), Dexter Waters (Shelia), Derrick Waters (Alfreda); 6 Grandchildren, Tynequa, Deshaun, Deandre, Sahara, Mayana, Zy'air. 3 Great grandchildren, Travis, Skylar, Brooklyn; 4 Aunts, Daisy Flower, Claretha McKnight, Rumell McKnight, Janie McKnight; 4 nieces, Lisa Nesmith (Timothy), Sheray Hale, Tonya Nesbitt (Thomas), Shamone Charlton; 1 nephew, Shannon Charlton; 2 special friends, Bertha Loftin Randolph, Karen Washington Williams and a host great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
