Willard
Juelz O. Bryant, 13, of Willard, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at his home. He was born Feb. 23, 2009, to John Bryant and Brandi Thornton. Juelz was an eighth grade student at Willard City Schools and he loved his friends and family. Juelz enjoyed long semi rides with his pawpaw, collecting geodes, and playing soccer, football, baseball, and bass guitar. He also loved nature, going to the beach, and fishing. An old soul at heart, Juelz could be found watching Golden Girls or listening to the Beatles or Elton John.
He is survived by his father, John Bryant; siblings, Marshall Thornton, Jinju and Myzen Hale, and Allysa Bryant; grandparents, Aaron (Lori) Thornton, YunMi (Rory) Schwab, Racheal Bryant, and Sherman Bryant Jr.; aunts and uncles, Abby (Dylan) and Trey Schwab, Samantha (Jake) Furr, and Jacob and Josh Bryant; and maternal great-grandparents.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brandi Thornton.
Calling hours will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at Secor Funeral Homes, Willard. Juelz's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at Christian Alliance Church with Pastor Mike Harroll officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Willard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brandi Chong Thornton fund at Sutton Bank #1119. Online condolences may be made to Juelz's family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
