Juanita Jane (Smith) Schibley, 87, a resident of Monroeville and recently Willard, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

She was born July 15, 1936, in Barberton, to Donald and Florence (Moore) Smith Sr. and was a Monroeville resident in her married life. She worked at the Faulhaber company making bicycle seats until she retired. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville.

Juanita is survived by her children, Sheila (Dan) Hershiser and Linda (Gene) Weilnau, both of Willard; grandchildren, Anthony (Mandy) Hershiser, Annie Hanson, Zach (Cheyenne) Weilnau, and Nicole Campbell; great-grandchildren, Braylee Bishop, Emberlee and Kynlee Kilgore, Keagan Slater, and Ava, Jayce, Abel, James, Jaxson, and Addy Hershiser; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Burden and Ellen (William) Schibley; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Schibley, whom she married June 30, 1956; parents; sister and brothers-in-law, Harry and Ruth Wood and William Schibley; and nephew, Gary Schibley.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Juanita's funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville, Ohio, 44847. Fr. Chris Jesudhason will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville, at a later date.
