Juanita Grospitch Obituary

Juanita K. Grospitch

Jul 14, 1948 - Oct 28, 2025

New London

Juanita (Tootie) Grospitch, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. She was born July 14, 1948, at New London Hospital in New London, the daughter of Madge and Floyd Miller. She married Dale Grospitch in 1994, he passed away in 2014. Her siblings are Marcia (Dick) Torp and Dennis (Dawn) Miller.

Tootie got her cosmetology license in 1967, worked at C.E. Ward, Linda's Bake Shop, New London NAPA, New London Reservoir and then retired to take care of her grandkids and many other children who were like grands to her and Dale. She loved taking the grandkids on vacations and was proud of all of them, whether by blood or heart. She went to as many school activities and sports that the grandkids were in as she could.

She enjoyed a close relationship with her fellow high school classmates and loved the get-togethers. She was ornery and sassy but had a heart of gold. For many years, she sent cards anonymously to people going through cancer, illness, or loss, just wanting to brighten their day.

She will be missed by her children, Wendy (Brian) Batdorf and Eric (Lisa) Coey; Grandchildren, Austin (Brooke) Coey, Hayden (Courtney) Coey, Carson Coey, Megan (Landen) Arledge and Ashley Anderson; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Maya, Mason, Boen, Wesson, Kannon, and Jameson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; and her brother, Barry.

Per her wishes, there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life is being planned for the spring of 2026.
