Jose Angel Trevino, 44, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at his residence.

He was born April 1, 1978, in Laredo, Texas, to his mother, San Juana R. Trevino. Jose moved to Norwalk from Laredo, Texas, in the late 90s, where he met the love of his life, Tammi. He will be remembered as a hard-working husband and father who always put his family first. He loved spending time with his wife and children. He enjoyed cooking out and was an avid gamer. He will be missed greatly by all those who loved and cherished him.

He is survived by his wife, Tammi (Long) Trevino of Norwalk; daughter, Katerina Trevino; stepson, Joe Dewey; stepdaughter, Jyn T Long; in-laws, Tomas and Carol Ford; siblings, Jesi Trevino, Trinidad (Veronica) Trevino Jr., Meliza A. Trevino, and Jason (Rosani) M. Trevino; and nephew and niece, Trinidad Trevino III and Brianna Dicken.

He was preceded in death by his father, Trinidad Trevino Sr.; and beloved dog, Diablo.

A private celebration of life gathering will be at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
