Joan Rosalie Trembley, 92, of Post Falls, Idaho, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 20, 1931, Emporia, Kansas, Glenn K. and Hazel (Hamilton) Hamer. Joan graduated from Pharr High School in Pharr, Texas, and would later live in Norwalk for many years.
Joan was a member of New London Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and above all, spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life and she cherished the time she spent with each of them.
Joan's survivors include her children, Chris (Trembley) Gariss of Post Falls, Idaho, Jim Trembley of Silverdale, Washington, and Brad Trembley of Snowflake, Arizona; her children's spouses, Ron Gariss of Post Falls, Idaho, Marcia Trembley of Silverdale, Washington, Debbie Young-Trembley of Dover, Ohio, Kim Trembley of Poulsbo, Washington, and Faith Trembley of Snowflake, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, William Trembley; sons, Dan Trembley and Tim Trembley; stillborn son, Randy Trembley; and siblings, Joyce Cannon, David Hamer, and Clyde Hamer.
Joan's graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Grove St. Cemetery, New London. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of New London with Pastor Jerry Shirley officiating.
Eastman Funeral Home of New London is honored to assist family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of New London.

Joan was my Sunday school teacher. I really enjoyed her through the years. I remember, she gave me a bumblebee pin, with a jade stone in it when I was just a kid. I loved the time our families spent together over the years. She was a great person & loved Jesus. I will celebrate her life & may she rest in peace. I´m so glad, I have some great memories with her. Prayers for all, she is in a better place
