Jo Anne Marie Morency, 65, of Sandusky, passed away August 7, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center, following a brief battle with cancer.

She was born July 18, 1960, in Sandusky, to the late William Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Murphy) Saleski.

Jo Anne obtained her GED from Perkins High School. She was employed for many years at Consolidated Biscuit, Akro-Mills, and, most recently, Dollar Tree. She was a former member of Sandusky Orioles Club, and a Lifelong member of AMVETS Auxiliary Post No. 17. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved being a grand, and great-grandmother. Her warm and talkative personality will be missed by everyone who knew her. She never met a stranger.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard G. Morency, whom she married November 6, 1982; her children, Marta (Jason) Biglin and Michael (Amber) Morency; six grandchildren, Alexis, Amy, Jordan, Tyler (Sara), Emmett, and Connor; three great-grandchildren, Nikella, Giovanna, Truu, and another great-grandson on the way; three fur babies, Tony, Larry, and Betty; her best friend, Regina Gussie; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas W. Saleski.
