New Jersey
Jean M. Fish, 79, of Burlington, New Jersey, a former longtime resident of Yardley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born March 16, 1946, in Norwalk, to the late Alma Wood (Reineck) and Ambrose Reineck, Jean grew up with a deep love for family and the simple joys of life. She was happiest with her toes in the sand, spending long days at the beach from morning until late afternoon. At home, she found comfort in quiet mornings with a cup of coffee on the porch, and she took great pride in her gardens, filling them with color and care. Jean gave generously of her time and resources, supporting others with kindness and humility.
Above all, Jean adored her grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them. Whether it was cheering them on at their activities, sharing stories at the kitchen table, or simply being together during holidays, she cherished every moment with them.
Jean was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Robert B. Fish II; and her sisters, Lois Berry (Reineck) and Rita Urban (Reineck).
She is survived by her four children, Cynthia Addiego (Fish) and her husband Matt, and their children, Alex and Victoria; Robb Fish and his wife, Rebecca Fetters, and their children, Nathan and Liam; Steve Fish and his children, Logan and Allie; and Jason Fish and his wife, Michelle (Karam) Fish, and their children, Robert and Evelyn. She also leaves behind her siblings, Betty Crow (Reineck) of Las Vegas and Jim (Fuzzy) Reineck of Norwalk, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Jean's warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor, which she carried through every stage of her life. She was small but mighty. Strong, determined, and full of spirit (and chocolate!), her laughter, her strength, and her love will remain with all who knew her.
A celebration of Jean's life will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, followed by a burial service at St. Paul's Cemetery.
There will also be a memorial service in Yardley, Pennsylvania, at a future date.
