Janet K. Hines, 79, of Willard, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born Oct. 12, 1944, in Willard, to Donald J. and Eunice B. (Moomaw) Heisler.
Janet was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was the president of Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She enjoyed going shopping and watching Cash Explosion. Janet loved hanging out with her friends and family, especially keeping up with the grandkids and all their activities.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Kim (Dave) Cox of Willard; two sons, Will (Marianna) Hines of Lorain and Matt (Missy) Hines of Attica; four grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Purdie, Trey (Ana) Hines, Brandon Hines, and Aidan Hines; eight great-grandchildren, Adelina, Penelope, Lola, Luna, William, Duke, Cooper, and Beau; sister, Linda Veletean of Willard; brother, Mark (Pam) Heisler of Carmel, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger Hines; and brother-in-law, Michael Veletean.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, until the time of Janet's funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Willard. Fr. Ron Schock will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Willard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
