Sandusky
Janet Gott, 77, of Sandusky, died early Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, after a brief illness.
Janet was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Sandusky, an active volunteer at Grace Thrift Shop in Sandusky, and a passionate advocate for the homeless.
She was a graduate of Indiana University and Ball State University and taught school in several states.
Janet is survived by her brothers, Jeff (Penny) Dyer of Anderson, Indiana, Jim (Margie) Dyer of Taos, New Mexico; and children, Michael (Allison Kayuha) Gott of Cincinnati, Andrew (Joanne) Gott of Athens, Tennessee, Sara (John) Grace of Providence, Rhode Island, Jon (Gabrielle Banzhaf) Gott, Kate Gott of Sandusky, Adam (Diana) Gott of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mark (Kelly) Gott of Matthews, North Carolina and Brian Gott of Norwalk.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margie Dyer; and her husband, David.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at Grace Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 315 Wayne St., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
