James "Jim" Fox, 88, former Wakeman resident, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at his home in Mesa, Arizona.
Jim was born April 2, 1934, to the late Vera Arnold and Frank Fox. Jim stayed in the Wakeman area until 1968. He worked for Cleveland Plain Dealer for 14 years and once owned Wagon Wheel Restaurant while in Ohio.
Jim is survived by his wife, Brenda of 33 years; sisters, Doris Keyes, Linda Gilbert, and Gail Fisher; sons, Denis (Cindy), TJ (Diana), and Bradley; daughters, Rhonda Royster and Jennifer (Mike) McClure; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Christopher; dad, Merwin Arnold; and son-in-law, Ed Royster.
Jim's ashes will be placed at his mother's grave 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at Wakeman Cemetery.
There will be a luncheon 2 p.m. Sunday at Wakeman Eagles (lower level) to celebrate his life. Condolences may be made to toftfuneralhome.com.
