James "Frank" Barker, 75, of Wakeman, passed away peacefully with family by his side Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Frank was born Nov. 27, 1948, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, to Ed and Arietta Barker

He retired from Ford Motor Company, Local #2000, after 31 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman, particularly enjoying hunting with his buddy Rich, playing softball, watching old westerns, and Monday Night Football. Hibachi Sundays were a huge highlight, always asking, "do we have a reason to party this week?" His question was always met with, "got a reason now Paw!"

He leaves behind so much love his significant other, Jackie "Lee" Maerkisch; daughter, Mona (David), Tracy (Dave) (Justin); son, Keith (Heather); pride and joys, Whitney (Joe), Ashley (Justin) Travis (Ashley), Heather (Brian), Micayla (Preston), David (Sophia), Zachary (Noelle), Austin (Gabby), Aaron, Alexis, Raven, and Alex; and great-grands, Neveah, Dozar, Gunnar, Coul, Ariah, and Guinevere.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacalyn Barker; and sisters, Judy and Melissa.

His last quote, "See Ya Later Kiddo!"

Private family services will take place.
