Heather James, 47, went home to the Lord after serious complications stemming from a lengthy battle with breast cancer Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022.
Born to Cindy and Steve Wilson, Heather attended Port Clinton High school.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Haskel Mack and Alice Wilson; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Jane Young; and uncle, Allen Young.
Heather is survived by four children, Morgan, Madison, Mason, and Mia; granddaughter, Milani; sisters, Heidi, (Rob) Quinn, Holly (Chad) Mussell, Hannah (Josh) Sharkey, and Lauren Wilson; loving partner, Ollie Wells; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Heather was best known for her huge heart. She never said no to people in need regardless of her own circumstances. Heather loved spending time with her kids and her granddaughter. She was the life of every party. Her favorite holiday was Memorial Day, so her celebration of life will be Memorial Day, 2023, with the place and time to be announced.
A private immediate family gathering will take place Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, near her home. In lieu of flowers or other contributions, we are setting up an education fund in Heather's name for Mia and Milani at PNC Bank. Please visit Heather's Facebook page for a link to make a contribution.
