Harold Thornsberry, 77, of Norwalk and formerly of Collins, got his wings to Heaven on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Wheelwright, Kentucky, to Ellis and Hermie (Hall) Thornsberry. He served for two years in U.S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas. He worked at Ford plant in Lorain and E & L Transport for 30 years driving a car hauler. He also gave 20 years to Wakeman Fire Department.

Harold is survived by his wife, Pat Gates Thornsberry of Norwalk; sisters, Charlotte Baker-Howard and Venessa Cook, both of Top Most, Kentucky; children, Sabrina (Harold) Kish of Geneva, Chris (Karri) Overstreet of Sullivan, Joe (Chelsea) Bremer of Hudson, Wisconsin, Mike (Rhonda) Hiesser of Collins, Brenda (Wendle) Blystone of Illinois, and Tim Gates and Tammy Gates Kisner (Duey Dick), both of Bellevue; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 36 years, Paulette (Parks) Thornsberry; brother, Ezra Thornsberry; and sister, Georgia Thornsberry.

A celebration of life dinner will be at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
