Harold "Bud" Peebles, 84, formerly of Nowalk, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama, at Ascension Providence Hospital. He was born August 17, 1940, to the late Walter H. and Emma L. (Davies) Peebles in Cleveland.
He proudly served his country in the Navy from 1958 – 1961. When he returned home, he went on to work as an independent trucker. In his spare time, he enjoyed roller skating and bowling. He was inducted into Norwalk Bowling Association Hall of Fame March 28, 1998.
Bud is survived by his cousins, Walter (Jeanette) Zimmerman and Linda Zimmerman.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in passing by aunt and uncles, Shirley and Leo Zimmerman Sr., and Jack (John) Peebles; and grandmother, Ella Cassidy.
Bud will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. June 10, 2025, at North Fairfield Cemetery, where a graveside service will take place.
