Gwendolyn R. (Baum) "Gwen" Dunlap, 68, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home, Norwalk.

She was born Sept. 11, 1955, in Quincy, Illinois, to Ernest and Phyllis (Kroeger) DeHaven.

Gwen cherished time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved pets, horses, gardening, and flowers, and worked as a unit secretary and construction secretary.

Gwen's survivors include her son, Stephen Dunlap of Fremont; daughter, Dawn Linder of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Jadyn Dunlap, William Rapp Jr., Phillip Switzer, and Sara and Savanna Dunlap; siblings, David (Betty) DeHaven, Debbie (Isadore) Steffani, Kim DeHaven, and Sherry Baum; special family members, Karla Rapp, William Rapp Sr., and Lemuel Switzer; nieces and nephews, Izzy, Duffy, and Shay Steffani, Holli DeHaven, and Sheila Baum; special friends, Jack Jr. and Trudy DeHaven; and other family and extended relatives.

She was preceded in death by her birth parents; stepfather, Jack DeHaven; and brother, Danny.

Visitation for friends and family will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, until the time of Gwen's service at 3 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home.
