Gregory A. "Greg" Sutherland, 63, of Norwalk passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk after recent extensive health issues.
He was born Sept. 27, 1960, in Norwalk, to Danny and Shirley (Marion) Sutherland.
Greg was a lifelong resident of Norwalk and was a graduate of Norwalk High School where he played football and baseball. Greg was a sports fan and enjoyed listening to and collecting music and had various hobbies. Greg retired from Oglesby Construction and he really appreciated the simpler things in life.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Amy Sutherland; brother, Patrick Sutherland; sisters, Cheryl Sutherland and Elizabeth Palmer; and nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother, Daniel Sutherland.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, until the time of Greg's service at 11 a.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, 44106.
