Gloria J. Mesenburg, 77, of Castalia, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 23, 2025, at her residence, following a brief illness.
She was born December 2, 1947, in Sandusky, and graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in 1965. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sandusky and worked as a banker for many years in the Castalia and Sandusky areas. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Mark) Deehr; sons, Brent (Christine) Mesenburg, Gregory (Kim) Mesenburg, and Paul A. Mesenburg; one granddaughter, Hannah Mesenburg; two stepgrandchildren, Dalton and Torii Forsberg; two sisters, Judy (Lynford) Sartor and Mary (Tim) Sartor; two brothers-in-law, Dennis (Rose) Mesenburg and Joe (Karen) Mesenburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Mesenburg; parents, Kenneth and Connie (Maiani) Leser; granddaughter, Autumn Jean Deehr; brother, Michael Leser; and father and mother in-law, Paul and Doris (Long) Mesenburg.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Mass of Christian burial will bgin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, Sandusky, or Margaretta Township Fire Dept. 113 South Ave., Sandusky.

I am so very sorry to hear of Gloria's passing. I knew her when we were kids, growing up in the same neighborhood.
Re-aquainted years later at Civista (Citizens) Bank.
She was a sweet lady with a beautiful smile, and tender spirit.
