One memory of Trudy kept us laughing for years! One morning she came in with her small black sewing machine case, set it down, opened it and said, "Oh my gosh!"
To her own amazement she pulled out her bowling ball! Both cases were black and about the same size! We teased her a lot about that "goof" and admitted that we had all done something like that at one time or another. She took it all in good humor and laughed along with us. Still think of her and the fun times we shared.

Trudy was one of our group of the Sewing Ladies at Hiltys.
She was such a joy to work with. We called her our "zipper " lady, since the rest of us didn´t like that job.
She didn´t let anything stop her! She was a fiesty lady and we loved her! Rest in God´s loving arms, dear friend!
