Garry James Smith, 78, Centerville, formerly from Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Garry was a man of faith who loved the Lord with all his being and entered into His presence Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Garry graduated from Western Reserve High School in 1965 and is an Army National Guard veteran, serving in Company C 612th Engineer Battalion based in Norwalk.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Ruth (Richard) Smith; father, Lloyd W. Smith Sr.; and mother, Helen M. Smith (Tesmer).

He is survived by his brothers, Lloyd (Lizz) Smith Jr. of Monroe, Michigan, Terry (Sue) Smith of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Tom (Sharon) Smith of Paulding, and Ted Smith of Cody, Wyoming; and his sisters, Sharon Kirk of Centerville and Lisa Carter of Centerville.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2025, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk.
