Frank went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 22, 2026, and he will be greatly missed. He was intelligent and skilled, able to solve difficult problems. He impressed everyone he met with his quick-witted, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor, followed by that devious little smirk. He loved to travel throughout the U.S., Europe, and Central America, and he lived briefly in Alaska and Hawaii.

Frank excelled in European auto mechanics and home rehab and would share his talents with others. He enjoyed playing the ukulele, singing off-the-wall songs, trivia and memory games.

Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, stationed in the U.S. and at Pearl Harbor.

His granddaughters remember gifted moments together at McDonald's dates, Ashland Hot Air Balloon Festival, and concerts. His love, laughter and presence will remain forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leah; brothers,James and Paul. He leaves behind a son, Frank III; daughters, Rachel and Celia; grandchildren, Nina, Camille, Carleah, Caden, and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Oaklyn, Sloane, Drew, Sebastian, and Gwydolin; loyal family members, Paul and Scott Thomas, and Vicki Kiesel; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime friend, Judy Gerber.

Frank generously donated his body to Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
