I remember Frank (aka "Dead Cat") Thomas very well. We were friends from jr. high school through high school at Sandusky. He was an interesting guy that I liked very much. I do remember the day he threw his math book out the window of Mr. Schopp's classroom. It was a good laugh until Mr. Clay Blanche, the Dean of Boys, came angrily in the door and said, "who threw this book out the window?" It seems that Blanche was just walking from his car to the building and saw the book's descent to the lawn. Frank owned up right away, but it was a very memorable caper of his that I will always remember. He was all about cars and music. His appearances at jr. high talent shows playing his baritone ukulele (he was very specific about that instrument) were memorable. We were in high school band together as well as many classes. He was always funny and very giving of his time. RIP my friend.
