Frank L. "Tom" Durr, 78, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Wednesday evening, June 14, 2023, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

Frank was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Meridian, Mississippi, the son of James Benny and Arsis (Lanier) Durr. For some time, he worked for Ford Motor Company at different plants and later as a delivery driver for Montgomery Wards. His family will remember him for how he loved listening and collecting old music and how he was an avid bird watcher.

Frank is survived by his family, Antonio (Jodi) Durr and Donna Johnson, both of Sandusky, and Don Durr of Ocala, Florida; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, T.J. Durr; and two sisters, Armetta Moore and Flora Mae Brown.

Private family services will take place. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.

Arrangements have been entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
