Floyd Lee Wade passed away peacefully Monday, July 3, 2023.
He was born May 7, 1956, in Sandusky, and graduated from Norwalk Senior High School in 1974. He attended Terra Tech in Fremont.
Floyd had a love of cooking, which showed in his 46 years of cooking for hospitals, nursing facilities, and retirement homes. In retirement, he worked for the Senior Enrichment Services of Huron County as a Meals on Wheels delivery driver and cook.
He enjoyed travel, camping, and his dogs. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and hiking. He was an avid cross-stitcher, completing over 40 pieces of artwork.
Floyd leaves behind his husband of 25 years, Lloyd Nadeau; sisters, Terri Wade and Shelly (Bill) Heidl; and brother, John (Shari) Wade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James P. and Wilma J. (Uther) Wade.
He was also loved by his nieces, nephews, and their families.
Memorial visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Enrichment Services of Huron County, 130 Shady Lane Drive, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.

Lloyd,
We have so many warm memories of Lee. Although we regrettably haven't physically seen one another in many years, the deep bond between the two of you and my family is still there. The both of you treated our now-grown children better than our blood relatives did - this will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you.
