Eugenia "Jean" (Lamb) Cloud, 96, passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023. Eugenia spent the last several years in assisted living in Avon Lake. She suffered a brief illness and was under the care of hospice.

Eugenia was born May 11, 1927, the daughter of John and Isabell (Bollinger) Lamb.

She was a much beloved grade school teacher at ICS and Bellevue Public Schools. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crocheting, collecting vases, playing the piano and organ, and watching Cleveland Guardians. She attended church faithfully at Immaculate Conception, Bellevue, and Holy Spirit, Avon Lake. She belonged to the ICS Altar Rosary Society, Daughters of Isabella, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She married Raymond Cloud Jr. on Aug. 30, 1947, and he preceded her in death in 1982.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Hancock of Toledo; sister-in-law, Judy Cloud of Monroeville; four children, Stephen (Cynthia) of Dublin, Richard (Jacqueline) of Avon Lake, Philip (Julie) of Bellevue, and Ruth (Greg) Fries of Avon Lake; grandchildren, Tracy Cloud, Erin Cloud, Patrick Cloud, Doug Cloud, Kathy Wittes, John Wittes, Jim Wittes, Jennifer Markel, Michael Cloud, Casandra Cloud, Bryan Cloud, Kevin Cloud, Nathan Fries, Adam Fries, and Kyle Fries; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Jean was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Drake; two grandchildren, Jeffery Cloud and Alexis Fries; two brothers, Donald and David Lamb; and sister, Margaret Stohl.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, Ohio, 44811. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center St., Bellevue, Ohio, 44811. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
