Aunt Elsie is my Mom's older sister and growing up we had such good times together. She was always so vibrant and outgoing and was fun to be around. I am so grateful that I was able to take my Mom and visit her on Thursday, Apr. 4. She looked so good and happy and had plenty of memories to share. Since I Live in Jacksonville, FL I wasn't around much the last 47 years, but I tried to meet up with her every time I was in Sandusky. I was blessed to see her just days before she passed. My condolences to Carolyn, Dan, and all of their family. She did tell us about getting ponies for a couple of the great-grandkids and said she made them take lessons and said "wouldn't you know, they loved it"!!!!! What kid wouldn't like a pony!!! From one who started out our 2 girls with a pony and then they had to have a horse and then they both got married and had kids and their kids either have rode or still are!!!!!
