Elizabeth Colonello Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Colonello was born Elizabeth Ann Murphy on June 28, 1928, in Sherman Oaks, Ca. All of her family and friends knew her by Ann.

Ann married Robert Colonello in 1947 and they went on to raise their large family in the San Fernando Valley.

Ann’s professional career was as the accounting and office manager for the business that she and her husband had started and shared for many years.

Ann enjoyed volunteering at Henry Mayo Hospital, where the staff and patients loved her and enjoyed her company. Ann was also a crossword puzzle whiz, the first thing she would grab from the newspaper was the page with the crossword puzzles. She was also an avid Jeopardy fan.

Ann is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made in Ann’s name to St Jude Hospital Research or City of Hope.
