Edward Allen Neeley, 53, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly at his home from a heart attack.

He loved spending time with his family and friends and never met a stranger. Ed loved fishing, hunting, playing dart ball and basketball, camping, cooking, having picnics with anyone who wanted to show up, and watching Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his life partner, Leslie Massingill-Neeley of 29 years; brother, Carlee Neeley (Glina); daughter, Kaila Neeley (Travis); sons, Wesley Mitchell and Elijah Neeley; stepson, Johnathon Massingill; grandchildren, Malaki, Navarah, Anthony, Zayden, and Levi; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vernon Mitchell (Karen), Cindy Duncan (Jim), Jonnie Shafer (Bob), Patricia Wood, Sara Berry (Ron), Claudia Berry (Pete), Ray Russell (Jenny), Billy Mitchell, and Anna Wood (Jason); and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, lots of good friends, plus extra brothers from other mothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Carl Neeley.

Friends may call 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, until the time of Ed's memorial service at 1 p.m. at Faith Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd. The Rev. Tom Groot will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Faith Church.

Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
