Dorothy Jeanine "Corky" Slessman, 93, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023.
She was born Sept. 19, 1929, in Willard, to the late Fred and Dorothy (Troup) Voight. Her loving husband, Cloyce Slessman, preceded her in death Oct. 10, 2004.
Corky is survived by her children, Neil (Karen) Slessman, James (Rita) Slessman, Rebecca (Anthony) Marrone, and Amy Slessman; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Donald Voight; daughter, Catherine Coleman; and son, John Slessman.
Corky was a librarian and worked at Willard Elevator prior to marrying Cloyce. She loved baking and was a long-time Weight Watchers member.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be gifted to New Haven Methodist Church.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, until the time of Corky's funeral at 3 p.m. at New Haven Methodist Church, 2644 Prairie St., New Haven, Ohio, 44850.
