Donna B. (Klinck) Thompson, 90, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Monday afternoon, Feb. 5, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

Donna was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Fremont, the daughter of Russell James and Ruth Irene (Werth) Klinck. She was a 1951 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Donna was a realtor for Century 21 Real Estate for many years before retiring in 1988. Prior to that, she worked as a waitress for nearly 15 years at the former Showboat and the Twine House, Huron.

Donna enjoyed playing cards especially Bridge with her friends, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with family.

She is survived by a daughter, Charlene Stine of Sandusky; two granddaughters, Shannon (Jamie) Kramer of Milan and Stefanie (Nick) Diederich of Huron; great-grandchildren, Carter, Grayson, Grace, and Joey; and son-in-law, Robert C. "Bob" Koch Jr. of Sandusky.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle A. Thompson (1994); daughter, LuAnne K. (Stine) Koch on Jan. 1, 2024; sister, Sally Markin; and two brothers, Daniel and Cameron Klinck.

It was her wish to be cremated.

A private family service will take place. Interment will be at Scott Cemetery, Huron.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her name to Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
