Donna Hile Midkiff, 90, of Norwalk, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023.
She was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Orrvile, the daughter of Guy and Ethel Douglas, who preceded her in death.
Donna is survived by her children, Doug (Sharon) Hile of Avondale, Arizona, Laura (Mike) Mack of Ashland, John (Roxanna) Hile of Bon Air, Virginia, Becky (Perry) Wilson of Milan, and David (Sarabeth) Hile of Evans, Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five stepchildren and their families; and many dear friends and caregivers at Carriage House, Kingston, and Gaymont.
She married Howard Hile on Sept. 6, 1953, and he preceded her in death Sept. 25, 1979 after 26 years of marriage. Donna married Glen Midkiff in 1981 and he also preceded her in death in 2012.
Outside of caring for her family and the many she considered her family, Donna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, cooking, and attending church activities. As a final act of caring, Donna donated her body to The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Memorial visitation will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, until the time of Donna's memorial service at 4 p.m. at The Chapel-Norwalk Campus, 156 S. Norwalk Rd. W, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Donna's memory be directed to either Ohio Library for the Blind, 17121 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio, 44110, or Salvation Army, 55 Whittlesey Ave., Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.

My dear friend and cousin, through marriage, was a thoughtful and delightful lady. We enjoyed going down memory lane together at least once a month, laughing and enjoying our fun thoughts. I will miss Donna and pray she will Rest In Peace.
