Diana Lee (Wenger) Massie, 78, of Ashland, went to her heavenly home Sunday, July 27, 2025. Diana was born in New London, Ohio, August 27, 1946, to Alvin and Virginia (Boyd) Wenger. She spent her childhood years living in Ruggles and her high school years in Nova, graduating from Mapleton High School with the class of 1964. Most of her adult life was spent living in New London and Ashland.

Diana worked as a seamstress for 34 years, 5 years at C.E. Wards and 29 years at Kent Sporting Goods, while also raising three children. After leaving Kent Sporting Goods, she worked for Kroger Food Chain. Diana relocated to Prescott Valley, Arizona, in 2007, where she retired in 2011. After her father, Alvin, passed away in 2015, Diana and her mother, Virginia, moved back to the Ashland area.

Diana enjoyed quilting, gourd crafts, oil painting, and photography. But her greatest passion was genealogy. She not only enjoyed researching her own ancestry but also found great pleasure in discovering family history information for others. Diana was a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution (Sarah De Forest Chapter in Norwalk, Ohio), Ashland County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 2178.

Diana is survived by her son, Gregory (Pamela) Massie; and two daughters, Nishele (Edward) Lenards and Dina Anderson; a sister, Donna (Wenger) Fry; and niece and nephew, Chrissy and Russ Fry; grandchildren, Jordan Massie, Peyton Lenards, Bricelyn Anderson, Maisie Lenards, and Shelby (Griffin) Gross; and five great-grandchildren.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Wally Fry; and a grandson, Trenton James Anderson.

Family and friends are invited to visitation from 10 a.m.- noon Friday, August 1, 2025, at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, OH 44851. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation beginning at noon, with burial to follow at Ruggles Cemetery.
