Diana Fay (Johnson) Keegan, 68, of Matthews, North Carolina, and formerly of Castalia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, Jan. 18, 2023, at Novant Health in Presbyterian, North Carolina.

She was born June 19, 1954, in Monroe, Michigan, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1972. She was a member of Wayside Temple, Castalia. Diana worked for Great Wolf Lodge for the last 12 years and previously worked for Kalahari Resort and Cedar Point. She also owned and operated Erika's Pride-N-Joy, a kid's clothing store, but her life's work was being a mom and "Gigi," which she loved and was amazing at.

She is survived by her daughter, Erika (Mark Page) Keegan; sons, Brandon (Jennifer Keller) Keegan, Bradley Keegan, and Bobby (Miranda) Keegan; grandchildren, Rylee Fay, Jaxon Keegan, Bronx Keegan, and one more grandbaby due July 4; mother, Cledis S. Johnson; and brother, Bobby (Pam) Johnson.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Bobby C. Johnson; maternal grandparents, O.D. and Meldie Bridges; and paternal grandparents, Claude and Nell Johnson.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Diana's funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at Wayside Temple, 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate. Burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery.
