Debra Ann Blair, 70, of North Fairfield, died Monday, June 24, 2024, at Mercy Health - Willard Hospital.

She was born Sept. 22, 1953, in Willard, the daughter of Susanna M. (Kuhn) King and Lance Young. Debra was a lifelong resident of the area.

She was employed as a custodian at South Central School District, where she took great pride in her work. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Debra and her husband, Richard, spent many hours riding their motorcycle together. She was a member of Shiloh American Legion.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard Blair, whom she married Feb. 20, 1971; their children, April Lynn (Bobby) Sutter of Shiloh and Richard (Jessica) Blair Jr. of Norwalk; grandchildren, Lance (Brooke), Cory, Gus, Dayna, Carrie, Ethan, Hayley, and Ian; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Remington, Isabella, Kaden, Dakota, Blake, Bailey, Braxton, Landon, and Wrenley; four-legged friend, Rosette; and sisters, Donna (Rob) Nickles and Darlene Case.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susanna King; father, Lance Young; and brother, Darrell Young.

Visitation for friends and family will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024, until the time of Debra's service at 12 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main Street, Greenwich, with the Rev. Bart McKelvey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.

Memorials in Debra's honor may be directed to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or Mercy Health - Willard Hospital.
