David Chandler Obituary

David K. Chandler, 64, peacefully departed on January 3, 2025, in Denton, Texas, following a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.
He  was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Henry Wayne Chandler and Doris (Phillips) Chandler.

Dave was passionate about helping families design their homes. He encouraged them through the challenging process, often reminding them with his legendary phrase: “Y’all be sweet to each other.”

Dave is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Chandler; his daughter, Bailey Chandler Gonzalez, and husband, Nick; his son,
Garrett Chandler, and wife, Christina; his brothers, Bruce Chandler and wife, Gail, and Phillip Chandler and wife, Debbie;
and his five grandsons: Eric (6), Noah (5), Oliver (4), Christopher (3), and Jacob (2).

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.

David was one of the kindest and most considerate people I have ever known. He had a gentle spirit that was always there whenever he was needed. A true friend to everyone. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many.
