Dashun Larone Ferrell, 51, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic-Main Campus in Cleveland. He was born March 23, 1973, to Howard "Percy" Ferrell and Janet McCarty Ferrell.
Dashun graduated from Sandusky High School in 1991. He held various jobs but was best known for working alongside his father and older brother Jabar at Sandusky Cabinet in the late 1990s.
Dashun enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching old gangster movies, Sanford and Son and Good Times! He loved music of different genres, including gospel. He also loved dancing, partying under the tree on Larchmont and at Scooter's house on Sunnyside with all his childhood buddies!
Dashun leaves to cherish his memory his children, "Little" Dashun Ferrell Jr, Davion and Demani Moore, Dasheon Ferrell and Dashaun Ferrell; grandchildren, Hendrix Ferrell Jones, A'Nautica Farmer, Nasere Brown and De'lani Ferrell; godsons, Kinyon D. Weatherspoon, Damon and Daylen Green; his mother, Janet McCarty Ferrell; his three brothers, Michael Sandridge, Howard (Julie) Ferrell and James "Tank" Ferrell; his three sisters, Patricia (Vince) Pollard, Sheya (Troy) Lash and Deondra (Liberty) Ferrell; a special brother, Jeff Hardin; and host of other loving relatives and close friends.
Dashun was preceded in death by his father, Howard "Percy" Ferrell; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky. Elder Herman S. Robinson will be the eulogist.
