Darrin Coward, 50, residing in Norwalk, lost his battle with cancer Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
Darrin was born June 15, 1972, in Oberlin, to the late Marge (Boner) Coward and Bob Coward.
Darrin was a hard worker and was employed by Newcomer and Rockstar Concrete. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending car shows and taking care of his dogs. Darrin had a giving heart and was known to give neighbors and friends a family name stone. He liked to drop it off when they weren't home as a surprise gift. Darrin was a gentle giant and would help anyone in need.
Darrin is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Norris) Coward, whom he married Oct. 8, 2010; sister, Kim (Brian) Watts of Fremont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Darrin was preceded in death by his parents, Marge (Boner) Coward and Bob Coward.
Memorial visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coward family, in care of Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
