Daniel Taylor Obituary

Daniel L. Taylor

Mar 10, 1950 - Oct 21, 2023

Sandusky

Daniel L. Taylor, 73, passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic.

Daniel was born March 10, 1950, in Ohio, to Seretha and Samuel Taylor. He was a man of many talents. His abiding faith and dedication were his greatest strengths. He graduated from Sandusky High School and received an associate degree from Lorain Community College.

Daniel was an entrepreneur, allowing him to travel the world and work on various projects. It was during one of these ventures that he found love in Trinidad and Tobago, where he met Donna Marie, the love of his life.

Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Marie; father, Samuel Taylor; sister, Diane Taylor; aunt and uncle, Vera (Herman Moore) and Donald (Dussina) Warfield; cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Seretha (Warfield) Taylor; brothers, Kenneth and Robert Taylor; nephew, Christopher Taylor; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Daniel attended elementary school in Sandusky and proudly graduated from Sandusky High School. He then obtained his associate degree from Lorain Community College.

A man of many interests, Daniel had a passion for music. In his younger years, he was part of a singing group that performed in various venues. As he grew older, he wrote and sang gospel music. Daniel was also a member of Spirit and Truth Church in Sandusky.

Daniel's last request was to have a memorial service to celebrate his homegoing. The details of the celebration will be announced at a later date.

Instead of flowers, contributions can be made to a charitable organization of your choice.

We remember Daniel Taylor for his unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for music. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
