Daniel A. Dietrich Sr., 83, of Monroeville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 31, 2023.

He was born April 5, 1939, in McClure, to the late Louis and Violet (Shaneyfelt) Dietrich. He was a loving father of eight children and grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather of many. He owned several printing machine manufacturing companies over the years, the last being Nu-Life Systems International, Inc. in Norwalk. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He enjoyed camping and fishing over the years and had a love for Corvettes.

He is survived by his sisters, Julieann Depuy of Findlay and Judy (George) Franks of West Milton; children, Peggy (Jim) Englert of Milan, Deborah Dietrich of Monroeville, Rushell (Lee) Ringle of Norwalk, Daniel Dietrich Jr. of Norwalk, and Farrah (Matthew) Hales of Monroeville; son-in-law, Tom Lesch of Norwalk; daughter-in-law, Connie Dietrich of Chatfield; and fur baby, Maggie Mae.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis (Pletcher) Dietrich; sons, Paul Dietrich and James Dietrich; daughter, Jody Lesch; daughter-in-law, Mary Gahagan; and brothers, Charles Dietrich and Louis Dietrich.

Daniel's graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 200 Woodlawn Ave., Norwalk, with Pastor Dan Pennington officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk.
