Cynthia Gingo, 83, residing in Huron, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born May 2, 1939, in Sandusky, to Kenneth and Dorothy (Bastien) Bickley.
Cynthia graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957. She worked and retired from Firelands Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member of Huron Eagles Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending Corvette car shows with her husband, camping, and traveling.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Gingo; brother, Gene Bickley and his wife Janie of North Carolina; stepdaughter, Pamela Dussell of Sandusky; aunt, Wanda Bastien of Milan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Richard Bastien of Milan; and poodle, Tishy.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the support provided by the staff at Stein Hospice and their exceptional care of Cynthia.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Cynthia's funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

Cynthia worked with me at Firelands. She always had a smile. I saw her and Jim out eating all the time. She always was on the move.
