Clifford Martin "Hooter" Resor, 73, of Vermilion, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at New Life Hospice.

He was born June 22, 1951, in Norwalk to the late Frank C. and Mary C. (Hersha) Resor. He was known as Hooter to all his fellow Ford workers and retired from Ford Motor Co. in Lorain after 31 years in 2007.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Michelle (Loar) Resor; children, Nicole Purkeypile, Jessica (Shane) Wilhelm, Curtis (Taylor) Resor, Brett (Hannah) Resor, and Courtney (Kevin Hobbs) Loar; grandchildren, Craig, Jared, Dalton, Joleen, Tara, Bella, Noah, Rowan, Avarie, Deacon, Liam, Zachary, and Joy; and his great-grandson, Issac; siblings, Bertha "Sis" (Lenny) Noster, Frank Resor Jr., Donny (Delsie) Resor, and Richard (Norma) Resor; childhood friend, Charlie Bishman; best friend, Jeff Emery; cousin, Theodore Clime and other cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Resor Calhoun; and a brother, Carl Resor.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be at a later date.
