Clara R. Hodorowski

Cleveland
Clara R. Hodorowski (nee Kline), 99, resident of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at New Life Hospice Center, Lorain, following a full and meaningful life.
She was born Dec. 30, 1923 in
Cleveland, Ohio. Clara had made her home in the Lorain County area for over 60 years. She happily lived with her daughter, Claire, for 25 years after the death of her daughter, Barbara.
Clara was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Norwalk. With the passing of Clara, the family lost a library of information and knowledge that she shared with her family. Clare was the rock for the family and was the person you could talk to about anything. When her son, Stan, and daughter, Barbara, were ill with cancer, she took perfect care of them. Clare loved to dance at the Columbia Ballroom with her husband, Ray, and family members. She was a prized cookie maker and loved supplying her family and friends with all of her treats. Clara enjoyed camping and fishing in her yonder years. She will be remembered as a beautiful soul, inside and out.
Clara's survivors include her daughter, Claire (David) Moore of Elyria; grandchildren, Tom, David, and Matt Roth, Kristen Vieta, and Eric Moore; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond S. Hodorowski in 1990; children, Stanley R. Hodorowski, Raymond S. Hodorowski Jr., and Barbara A. Lindenberger; and parents, John Joseph and Susan Kline (nee Rovnak).
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, until the time of Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Rd.,
Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Norwalk.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Rd.,
