Christopher Lee Shample, 55, of Atlanta, Michigan, died suddenly Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1968, in Norwalk, to Leroy and Martha (Jameson) Shample. He married Laura (Boone) Shample on Nov. 27, 1989, and together, they celebrated 34 years of marriage before his passing. They have lived in Atlanta since 2018.
Christopher was a member of Atlanta Eagles and was an Eagle scout when he was younger. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing and liked rides on his side-by-side and trips around Crooked Lake on his pontoon boat. He is and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Shample of Atlanta; and parents, Leroy (Martha) Shample of Norwalk.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
There will be a memorial in celebration of his life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Norwalk Public Library, 46 West Main Street, Norwalk.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
