Chris A. "Big C" Ulery, 74, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, December 31, 2024, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
Born November 5, 1950, in Sandusky, the son of William Irvin and Maxine Marie (Caswell) Ulery. He was a 1970 graduate of Sandusky High School. Chris had worked for 37 years at Sandusky Chrysler Plastics, before retiring in 2006.
He loved socializing with others and was an avid New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. In his younger days he enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Chris was a member of the Sons of AMVETS Post No. 17, where he was a charter member and past president for many years.
He is survived by two sons, Brian (Tracey) Ulery of Sandusky and Jason (Melissa) Ulery of London, OH; his six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bronson, Quinn, Kate, Dylan and Charlie; his stepgrandchildren, Alayna, Jacob and Emma; a sister, Sharon (Jeff) Slomsky of Bellevue; his four brothers, Richard "Rick" (Ann) Ulery of Norwalk, William (Brenda) Ulery, Ron (Terri) Ulery and Randy (Theresa) Ulery Sr., all of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry L. "Scooter Man" Ulery; and his nephews, Ronald Ulery Jr. and Randy Ulery Jr.
It was his wish to be cremated. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, January 5, 2025, at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, with the Rev. Wally Gilbert officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.

Chris was a good father to our two sons, Jason and Brian Ulery He loved his family and friends, he was always there when needed. His grandchildren loved him.
