Charles Jors Obituary

Charles B. Jors

May 1, 1944 - May 10, 2025

Norwalk

Charles B. Jors, 81, of Norwalk, passed away at home Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Born May 1, 1944, in Norwalk, Chuck was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 1963. He proudly served in the Ohio National Guard and soon after began a career at New Departure in Sandusky, where he worked for 30 years. Following his retirement from New Departure, Chuck continued to serve his community, working with Huron County Senior Transit until retiring again in 2019.

He found joy in simple pleasures-camping, fishing, attending races at the Sandusky Speedway, and tending to his yard. These hobbies brought him peace and fulfillment throughout his life.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diana (Stockman) Jors; daughter, Barb Hall; son, Jason (Ann Hinckley-Jors) Jors; and four grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Vivian, and Stella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mae.

There will be no memorial service. All who wish to honor Chuck's life are asked to take a moment to remember him while participating in any of the activities he loved.

Arrangements entrusted to David F Koch Funeral & Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky.
