Brian Schnellinger, 68, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 12, 2024.
He was born Dec. 13, 1955, in Norwalk, the son of Kenneth and Jean (McManus) Schnellinger.
Brian graduated from St. Paul's Schools and Walsh University. In his early years, he worked for Boose Farms. Brian retired from University Hospitals in Cleveland after 30 years as a Lab Technician.
Brian is survived by his brothers, Bill (Sue), Dean (Linda), and Mike (Patty); sisters, Marge (Denny) Cassidy and Kay Fletcher; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carrie; brother-in-law, Jim Fletcher; and daughter, Carol, and wife, Catherine (Kuemmerle), losses from which he never fully recovered.
Memorial donations in his name can be made to Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, 9772 Diagonal Rd., Mantua, Ohio, 44255.
A private graveside service will be at a later time.

So very sorry for your loss. I met Brian in 1990 at University Hospitals where we became fast friends and coworkers for many years. I will always remember his contagious laughter and positive attitude. God´s peace be with you all at this time.

Dear Schnellinger Family,
I was very sad to hear of your loss, especially in light of the fact that Frank and I had just spent an enjoyable visit in December at the Buckeye when we just happened to go there at same time. We truly enjoyed laughing and chatting with Marge, Kay and Brian. Now that Brian is gone, I for one, am grateful that I happened to get to Norwalk that day.
