Bradley Carl Pohorence, 73, residing in Sandusky, went to be with the Lord early Friday morning, February 6, 2026, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.

Brad was born June 18, 1952, in Sandusky, to the late Frank and Laura Jean (Seeholzer) Pohorence. Brad grew up on Kelleys Island, where he helped his parents run the Island Market.

Brad retired as a sales representative of over thirty-five years, having started his career at George Canalos, Inc and ending with the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.

Brad was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, bicycling, traveling, and going out to eat. Spending time with his family was the thing he cherished most.

Brad is survived by his wife, Patti (Hutchinson) Pohorence, whom he married August 19, 1974 (after a six-week courtship). He is also survived by his son, Scott (Samantha) Pohorence of Sandusky; daughter, Autumn (Eric) Schneider of Woodville; son, Joe (Whitney) Pohorence of Sandusky; eight grandchildren, Macy, Emma, Cameron, Rylee, Isaac, Dawson, Sarah and Lucy; sister, LuAnn Swindell of Valley City; brother and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Brad is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Elijah Pohorence and Violet Pohorence; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Ave. Sandusky, with Pastor David Hixson presiding. Burial will take place at a later date at Oakland Cemetery in Sandusky.
