Bobby J. Osborn, 86, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born May 12, 1937, in Kentucky, to J.P. Osborn and Mardel (Starkey) Osborn. He was a graduate of North Fairfield High School and worked at Norwalk Foundry. He then retired after many years as a laborer with CertainTeed in Milan. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Huberta (Mantz) Osborn; children, Robert Joe (Tami) Osborn and their children, Alyssa, Aaron, Tim and Matt Phillips, Carl (Brenda) Osborn and their children, Robert, Brittney, and Tiffany, Tammy (Gary) Braden and their children, Cory, Brooke and Taylor, and Tom (Monica) Osborn and their children, Brennan, Alex, and Kaylee; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Roger, Virgil, Melvin, Janice, and Anna; and granddaughter, Robyn Lynn Osborn.
A celebration of life service will be at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
